I like it a lot. It is a very full bodied, rich, elaborate name but it isn't frilly or over the top girly. It has almost a regal sound to it.
Well I adore the nickname Maggie but Lena is also a really nice nickname for Magdalena, a little more mature but still appropiate for a little girl. I don't like Magda though. It feels a bit haggard to me.
