My first thoughts are of Mt. Shasta and Shasta daisies. I like the name Shasta and the things I associate the name with. Mount Shasta is beautiful and I love flowers.
I've also liked this name for a long time. I also like Sitka, Sequoia and Spruce. Spruce I only see for a boy. But I see Sitka for a girl. Sequoia I can see for a boy or a girl.
(I didn't think of the drink Shasta until people mentioned it. Maybe since I don't drink Shasta that just isn't a connection I make automatically. I also I just looked it up and I seem to keep confusing Shasta with the drink called Sierra Mist. :P)
