Male? Male? If this was taken from a birth certificate before they could think of a name then I'm not surprised. If this was taken from a death certificate / obituary and the corpse was unidentified than I'm not surprised. But if "Male" was taken from any historic record between birth and death then I am very surprised. And why include it in a historical society newsletter? Just . . . odd.

Arden I've always thought of as a feminine name, as a Shakespearean reference. But seeing it on a male I actually think it's better there.

I have nothing nice to say about the feminine list, except I am digging how many vowels Ioline's parents got into one name. I don't care for the name, but the "voweling" is stupendous.
