Sorry but I think it's awful.
I don't generally think that names are too much or pretentious but this strikes me as one. And it's more faux pretentious to me really. I just imagine someone using it to look smart and cultured.
Someone on another forum has a baby named Giles. I just think how clever that woman must imagine she is.
I also don't find the sound of it attractive at all.
