Min and Feng are separate Chinese names which seem to be used both as given names and surnames. You'll find the origin of Min at http://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?view=2&surname=min and that of Feng at http://www.ancestry.com/name-origin?view=2&surname=feng.

thanks... however now I wonder... the place name "feng"... what does it means?

also, it never says what's the Chinese spelling of these as surnames and different characters have the same transliteration

I don't know if this is what you're looking for but, as far as I can see, Feng is currently written 冯 which means 'wind' and Min is 旻 'heaven'.
