[Opinions] Re: Swedish June BAs
in reply to a message by Malin
These stood out to me:
Eric - see below
Fredrik - unusual these days, not really a fan
Lex - Nice
Noha - what's wrong with Noah? Or is Noha unrelated? I feel like it might be.
Sylve - I can't help it, but Sylve sounds very feminine to me.
Östen - Mismatched sibset. And Östen? WTF?
Alea - I quite like it
Daniela - Me gusta
Maria - unusual for a kid. And quite weird. I can't imagine it on a little kid these days
Vega - Eh. Nice to see something else than Emma or Julia though

I wondered the same about Noha ... But maybe it was just a typo! :P
I don't think it is...
Det finns 28 män som har förnamnet Noha. Av dessa har 18 namnet Noha som tilltalsnamn.
I've seen Noha before, but that time it was used as a creative version of Noah. But in the BA below, I started wondering it Noha was a name from a different culture mainly because of the sister's name.

Noha is user-submitted as a female Arabic name (http://www.behindthename.com/submit/name/noha) and it seems to be quite popular in France as a male name (http://www.behindthename.com/top/name/noha).
I did a search and it seems to be particularly popular in Egypt https://www.linkedin.com/pub/dir/?first=noha&last=&search=Search (again, many of them seem to be women).
It seems to be a variant of Nuha.
