The difference is that
Esra is actually feminine, whereas
Ezra very much isn't.
Also, OP was stating an opinion (an opinion I happen to agree with, really) in the way most people do, and I'm really confused as to why you have an issue with it. If I'm going to say, "That dress is awful," I don't have to preface it with, "I think," and the same goes for my opinion on the weather, what happened on a television show I watch last night, and pretty much anything else.
