Darcy - absurdly refreshing to find it as a boy name. And the only
Darcy I know is a very good guy indeed, and he's retired, so what his parents were thinking of some 70 years ago, I can't imagine. They weren't even English speakers. But it still doesn't appeal to me at all.
Trent is one of the better geographical names, and when my mother was a student in Nottingham she used to tiptoe off sometimes and watch cricket at the
Trent Bridge ground, which looks lovely. But I wouldn't use
Trent either, though if you pointed a gun at my children and forced me to choose one from your list,
Trent it would be.
