[Opinions] Re: Kayley

-Do you like the name in general? No. It's boring, overused, and too cutesy for my taste. I would like it a lot more, though, if it wasn't so trendy these days. -What sort of person do you picture when you hear the name Kayley?

I imagine a sterotypical American teenager. That's all. This name is so common and trendy nowadays that it's lost all of its unique flavour, so I can't associate it to any particular attributes rather than the age group it's popular in.-Do you prefer a different spelling? Are there too many variants? Kayley is the best way to spell this name, IMO. And yes, there are *way* too many variants of this name, and most of them are downright awful. - Will it age well? No. It's too trendy right now, which makes it a "generation" name rather than the unique name for an individual. Right now it's a teen/child/infant name, and sixty years from now on, for instance, it will be branded as a "old lady" name because a huge number of people in that generation will have it.
