Sophia is very popular, but if you love it, go for it. I have a daughter named Sophia (nn Sophie) who was born in 2000. It was certainly beginning its upward climb by then, but I had wanted it for fifteen years. So I did it anyway. Her mn's are unusual, and if when she's grown she doesn't want to be one of five or six Sophie's, she can be the only Ophelia or Seraphina her age.
