This is probably a bit of a stretch, but why not use it as a distant diminutive for Stephanie / Stephan? I would only think to offer this if you would only use Jessie as a nick-name for a more formal first name.
I know Stephen / Stephan has Steve & Stevie, Ann & Anne, and Stephanie has Steve & Stevie, Ann, & Anne & Annie bearing the same set of similar diminutives - however, throughout life, I have naturally called a few Stephanie's "Steph", without known protest, yet I've sometimes asked myself or the "Stephanie" who's name I'd just butchered whether she likes the abbreviated moniker.
