Eduardo Francisco, age 34, born in Lisbon, writes music for film and stage, works in London and mainland Europe.
Cathleen Margot, age 33, previously a classical singer and ballet dancer, now a writer after retiring due to an injury and then pregnancy. Her first book, written for older children, was adapted into a successful play.
They have had several miscarriages, including one late-term, and decided it was in Cathleen's best health interests to adopt.

What religion(s) does the family practise? Roman Catholic, not strict
Does the family have any pets? If so, what type? one goldendoodle named Luna and an older rescue mutt named Remus
Does the family travel? If so, how often, for how long, and where to? They often travel for work, and enjoy visiting family in the US as well as Portugal. They spent their honeymoon in South America and enjoy going back as much as they can, but tend to stick to Europe for finance and time sake.
