I prefer
Anthea's sound. I like both meanings but don't really care for
Althea's sound for some reason. I used to have
Anthea on my list and my own name is actually
Andrea. I never considered that people would confuse it with my own name. I did worry that people might confuse it for
Athena, however. It's not a dealbreaker for me though and not the reason I took it off my list. It's a lovely name overall.
