[Games] Congratulations!
in reply to a message by Mar
Congratulations Emie and Django! We have found six children for you.Jabari, twelve years old; Ulan, ten years old; Ashanti, seven years old; Kamilah, four years old; Batini and Ottah, two years old, are siblings from Africa. Their parents were forced to move because of drought. There wasn't a problem until Jabari woke up early one morning and found himself and his siblings alone. No trace of their parents has been found.Jabari is the oldest of the six. He is very angry that his parents "abandoned them to die." He should get counseling.Ulan is the next boy. He is a sweet child with no problems. He loves to be outside with lots of pets.Ashanti, Kamilah and Batini are the three "little ladies" of the group. They have been exposed to housework and are eager to help in any way they can.Ottah is a flirt and enchants everyone he meets. All are healthy and developmentally normal. We know they will fit in with your family and would love to hear how their arrival went.

First of all, an overview of the family as it is now. We decided to give all of them middle names, and to keep their first names, because we rather like them :)

Django and I flew to Africa to pick up the children and our other children stayed with their grandparents. I got really emotional when I saw them all for the first time. I couldn't stop crying and higged them all, they looked a bit confused. Jabari was very protective of his siblings, and he was reluctant to let is touch them. On the flight back he trusted us a bit more. When we got to the airport, the other children were already waiting. We introduced them to eachother. After some time back home they warmed up to eachother. The little ones had no problems with the others and now all of them see the others as part of their family. Jaba is the only one who remains wary of us. I think he's afraid we'll leave them. I don't know what we should do to reassure him that we won't. All in all, things are going fine (although it's really busy in the house!).
