[Opinions] some ideas
in reply to a message by AshJ
Sean - without thinking of all the Seans/Shawns/Shauns that I know, I like this name well enough. It's a pleasant sound and I like it better than plain old John. I prefer the Irish spelling btw - Sean. It's more attractive than Shawn or Shaun and it's become such a common spelling that hardly anybody will ever mis-pronounce it, ever.Sean Patrick? That's so stereotypically Irish I actually cringed, no offense. Both are great names but together, it's overdone. I know soooo many Sean Patricks (all with Irish surnames that start with O', ironically, giving them all the same initials lol always found that funny). Some ideas (sticking with the Irish theme, as it seems you like that):Sean Angus (I actually like this one quite a lot, personally)
Sean Ardal
Sean Brennan
Sean Cahal
Sean Calhoun (like this a lot too - Calhoun Sean is even better!).... etc
