[Opinions] Eli and Autumn ...

And just FYI: telling people not to reply unless they are going to respond the way you want them to respond is not career-building; in other words, it's not a good look, it's not cool, it ain't kosher.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!

I said what I said and I meant that. I’ve posted a plethora of other names, and I allowed people to provide their sentiments on whether or not they like them or not. However, these are my top pics so telling me you don’t like any of them is irrelevant. It has nothing to do with being “professional”. You could’ve kept your comment to yourself if my requests made you feel a way.

RoxStar, and most other people on this board, remembers a very difficult poster earlier this year who tried to dictate to us about the answers she wanted and didn't want. In the end, that personhad to be blocked for sheer bad board behaviour. Nobody wants a rerun of that.
And I don't know why you would find negative opinions of your favourite names irrelevant, while presumably finding positive opinions of them perfectly acceptable. An opinion is an opinion. This is an opinions board. Tastes differ. Live with it.

You’re really bothered about my stipulations for MY post. Nothing I requested was hateful or would result in me being banned. There’s a reason I made those requests. You could’ve skipped my post if you had a problem. People like you are noticeably miserable. Please go find some joy and stop being so mad at simple things.
nobody's mad ...
Except you.
You don't need to be hateful or do or say something that's banning-level bad to be called out here.
Some of us have been on this board for ten or even more years, and there are some unwritten-in-the-rules-section but still well-understood and long-standing rules here. One of them is that when you ask for opinions, you don't request only positive opinions; that's arrogant and obnoxious and defeats the whole purpose of a board that's meant precisely for "opinions."
We've all been corrected for little things like this at some time or other. It's up to you how you respond, but I'm here to tell you that if you intend to stick around and get feedback on names or anything else, you'd be doing yourself the big favor if you follow that rule; if you choos not to, expect fewer and fewer positive reactions to your posts; you have several times advised me/Anneza to just not respond to your posts if we don't like them. Realize this works both ways, and people may stop responding to yours if you keep dictating what opinions they can offer.
