Zack and Leona are both from New Zealand and met four years ago through mutual friends at college. They started dating three years ago and, having both graduated, are now moving in together. They choose a house in Queenstown, a beautiful town on the shores of Lake Wakatipu on the South Island. Zack becomes a computer science researcher following his degree in computer science, and Leona finds work as a fitness instructor teaching yoga and Zumba, a long-time hobby of hers that doesn't require her math degree.
