It feels like the name of an all-American
Christian boy who plays quarterback football. I don't even know what quarterback football is, but like
Joshua, it feels stereotypically American to ridiculous degrees to my central European mind. Also, the "shoe" sound is very unappealing to me.
Yeshua also has the unpleasant "shoe" part, and the "y" sound makes it feel breathy. It feels very Messianic "Jewish" to me (putting Jewish in quotation marks because I'm pretty sure Messianic Judaism has little to do with Judaism).
