I like it, but my level of like depends on pronunciation.
I grew up with a Sonia about 10 years younger than me who was like a sister. Her parents were from Italy like mine.
Pronounced Sohn-yah
I know a couple people who says Sahn-yuh... which is nice but less familiar to me.
