I knew a Petrina at school. Nice enough person, but for a long time I'd misheard her name as Katrina or, with any luck, Catriona and when I found out what it really is, I was disappointed. Unlike Petra, it's easy to pronounce. Unlike Peta, it can't be confused with a male name. But I'd never use it; seems needlessly complicated.
