It’s a bit odd. I would assume I’d misheard “Claudette”. But I do like other names ending in -x, like Beatrix and Victrix, so maybe it could grow on me. The -ex instead of it being -ix is what makes it sound like a brand name, I think, since “ex” is shorthand for “used to be”. Like Dirtex would be a cleaner, or Stainex would be a detergent. Claudex sounds like something to help you get over clumsiness or something.
