The word is purely synthetic, and obviously so. It does not seem poetic to me and doesn't sound like its meaning. Just artificial and forced. There's no word apric or apricious ... The etymological root is "exposure" and aprication is exposure (to the sun). That's unappealing as well.
I dunno, if I liked -ity names more I would probably be more open to it? but as it is, I don't like it.
