I have met a Cletus!
He was a normal guy in his 30s.
Blue collar, though. Midwestern American.
I feel like it's similar to Clay, Titus, Atticus, Otis, Cleon, Clyde.

I might feel different if I’d encountered thr name in some other context than the character, I suppose.
