Missy isn't a baby name anymore IMO. It's a childhood nick for a gen X
Melissa. Forty more years and people will be like: "They thought
Missy was a good name?" the same way today we're like, "They thought
Fanny was a good name?"
Misty is a hippy style name from the 70s and its name-sisters are
Brandy,
Fawn,
Tanya, and
Amber. Only
Amber fledged, maybe because it's the only one of them that didn't sound weak by 1980. It's usable, but niche... kinda like Shyanne.
