The only -t-n and -d-n names I can face are Brendan and Elton; Elton ony for the music! My son's best friend since they were three is Brendon, which I'd be willing to use as a mn because of him.
Eldon seems like a merger of the two; I've never encountered it and I don't find it appealing.
