I don’t mind it as a nickname for Lucinda but couldn’t see myself using it as a full name as it reminds me too much of the doll who was brought out in the 1960s as a rival to Barbie. The doll’s name was spelled Sindy rather than Cindy and she had a boyfriend called Paul.
