[Opinions] Re: Herleva

I instinctively pronounced it like "air-LAY-va" in my head - not sure if that's anywhere close to correct, but I think it's lovely.
I thought I'd seen this name somewhere in my medieval Wikipedia wanderings, so I checked and I was right: this was the name of William the Conqueror's mom! That's fun.
Herleva Emily is really standing out to me. It's got a warm magic to it, very homey.
PS I am absolutely gaga over Arlette, what a fantastic name

If your pronunciation is correct, it’s a gorgeous name.
I've encountered a couple Arlettes recently - both were young Latina women. Arleth also seems to be catching on with youngsters (I live among a high Latino/Hispanic population).
Arlette is a really pretty name. Herleva definitely appeals to the medieval nerd in me, though. I'm pronouncing it HEHR-leh-və, though I don't know if that's right, either.
