She was apparently lovely! She was my mom's favourite grandma and a great inspiration for her. Both myself and my mom greatly resemble Ellen, too! So I feel a sort of closeness to her.
Ellen Ruby is of course one of my favourites, I love Ruby endlessly. Ellen Daisy also appeals to me, it's so 1903. But Ellen Irene is really speaking to me. It's got the same quiet, practical elegance as Ellen, and I really like that it means "peace", which poor Ellen truly deserves.
