I like them together. Wouldn't have noticed the shared 'nic' thing, so I don't think it's too big of a deal. Funny enough, there are two women in my mother's friend group who have two teenaged sons named Nicholas and Dominic, who are friends from last I heard. They may be the only people with those names I know.
