I think you are misinterpreting the use of "Native American". No one is saying that Greenland is politically part of Canada or the USA. But it certainly is generally considered part of the North American continental area, just like
Ireland and Great Britain are considered part of Europe. So I think it is accurate to say that Greenlandic names are "Native American" just as it would be accurate to include English or Irish names in a list of "European" language names.
