I really like this name. She could go by Ginny / Ginnie or Ginger. using it as a nn is good too because there are so many nice Gin- names. But if you like Ginger more than any of those, go with Ginger.
I actually like Ginjer better for some odd reason. and I'm not one for creative spellings. Maybe because it looks more Scandinavian and I tend to like those names a lot.
