It has been two years.
Rich is doing well at his real estate job and he makes quite a large sum of money now. I (as May) am doing well with all the kids, I think. It gets a little crazy around here sometimes, but everything is well worth it. Oh, Loren got married last year to a girl from Russia named Svetlana. They already have a little boy named Alexei Mikhail, who is just a month old. Beth and Cara are just about grown up now. Cara is going away to college in the fall and she wants to study...well, she isn't sure yet. Beth has decided to apply for a job at her school teaching deaf children. She won't be a 'teacher', per se, but she will be an interpreter for some of the hearing teachers that don't quite understand sign language yet. Keoni, Alejandro, and Martha all go to the same private high school now and all are enjoying it. Keoni has fast become the school's soccer star. Alejandro is taking a lead role in forming a photography club at school. He hopes to travel to Mexico sometime this summer and work on a ranch there. Martha is a great mother to Kesi. She is also working hard and doing well at school. Martha would like to become a counselor for teenagers like herself. She's getting great practice with Melissa in the house. Kesi is very adorable and he likes to sing and play. He'll be attending pre-school pretty soon, but for now, I take him to the park and to play dates with some friends. Alana is rapidly turning into a graceful young woman. She has been doing gymnastics these past six years and is excelling. She has made some very close friends, despite still being homeschooled. Connor has found a love for volleyball and he is begging us to get a net for the backyard. Connor is also doing great in school and he has friends over almost every day of the week. Anza is very happy about us adopting Melissa, because it means that we have a girl who is closer to her in age than Alana is. Anza likes photography like her older brother Alejandro. We are not going to change Melissa's name. Melissa is rebellious at this point, but we are taking her to a therapist which seems to be working. She is very overwhelmed at having to care for two infants, but the girls all help her out and Melissa seems to have bonded with Martha, a teen mother like herself. Nevi and Austyn are cute little babies and we are sure that they will grow into great children.
