Jake and Tiff were shocked to hear that they were finally expecting a girl. Needless to say, they are very excited to have a little girl in the family. Xander, Jett, and Topher, on the other hand, are not quite as happy. They were hoping for another brother. Jake and Tiff had been convinced that the baby would be another boy, so they had already starting calling the child Nico, as they had chosen Nicholas nn Nico for the baby. (They were so torn between this and Christopher nn Topher the last time around :) ). Now, all of the kids are calling the baby Nico. Jake and Tiff want to incorporate this into either the fn or mn, but they despise the name Nicole. They would rather use a different name that the nn Nico could work for. Like with Xander, Jett, and Topher, they would like to use a mix between modern and classic names.

RJ and Laura are expecting another son. They think this will be their last child, so they want the name to be extra special. They want the meaning of the mn to have something to do with last, final, end, etc. For a first name, they would like an M-name. Because their are double initials for each other family member (Laura and Lila, Richard and Richard...) they don't want Magnolia to be left out. They want the name to be classic, without sounding too serious or stuffy.

Ethan and Cassie are not done yet. They have spent the past four years saving for another international adoption. They are adopting a little sister for Iris to play with from China. The child has already been named Zhen Mei. They would like this to be incorporated into the fn or mn or both, and they do not really care how. They also want to incorporate Cassie's sister, Ellen Marie, into the name somehow.
