Jake, Jude, Lily and I were thrilled with the arrival of the girls! Another set of twins seemed perfect! We thought long and hard before giving them new names, at two they had a certain bond with their names and we didn’t want the transition from China to LA to be more difficult than it already was, but we also didn’t want our beautiful daughter to have the name ‘Shun’ because of the negative definition in English society.

We re-named Shun Huan Sunny Hana. For two reasons:
1) Sunny was close to Shun so it was not a hard transition.
2) She has the sunniest disposition. Even after being abandoned she barely stops smiling.
We re-name Ju Yi Juliet Yuri. She is a drama queen and if Juli is unhappy we all know. Daddy seems to think she may become an actress (As if the family needs anymore).

The girls were reserved at first but right when we got home they relaxed and have adapted wonderfully. It is rare to see one without the other, they spend plenty of time talking quietly to each other, but are quick to give you their input. Both girls love to dance, and they love to watch their big brother and sister in all matters.

Jake and I are so happy to have them and cannot imagine our lives without them!
