I know this wasn't addressed to me, but...
Mo-NAY KARA-lee is difficult for me to say, personally. I want to say Mo-NAY kara-LEE so that the emphasis falls on the right place. Jo mentioned Monet Simone, and I think that is pretty.
I'm assuming your mom's name is Cara...what about Charlotte Monet?

I guess i DO say kara-LEE when they are together. It sounds much better, doesn't it?
Charlotte Monet is very pretty. And so is Monet Simone. I'll mention to them to DH.
Our mother's names are Carolyn and Lesa (like Lisa)-- not easy names to combine, and not names we really wanted to use individually. The best we could come up with was Caralee. There is a history in both my family and my husband's family of naming babies after family members, so we want to honor that tradition but not be obligated to use names we don't really care for. Still working out the kinks.
