Congrats Magruder family! You now have three new additions to your family.
Jean-Pierre Laurent and Aimee Emeline are six year old twins from France. The twins and their single mother were in their way to the park when a drunk driver collided with them. The accident was fatal for their mother but both children miraculously escaped with only minor injuries. It's been a year since the accidents and both twins have recovered well. Jean-Pierre likes to play football (soccer), go hiking, swim, and draw. He is trying very hard to learn to play the saxophone. Jean-Pierre is very outgoing and loves to be surrounded be people but also works well alone. Aimee is more shy and likes to know that you love her. She is starting to fall in love with dancing, singing, and writing. You may soon have an actress on your hands! She has a tabby cat named Princess who is 3, as it was a gift for her third birthday.
Mariska Magdolna is a ten year old girl from Hungary. Her dad died in war and her mother died giving birth to her. She likes to listen to music, paint, read, and play outside. Since she is an only child she is looking forward to having a younger brother and sister to play with. She is very active and likes to run around and have fun. She aspires to someday work for the FBI but uncertain which field.
All three children can speak fluent English.

Mariska, or Marie, loves her new home. She loves her new iPod, and is doing great in school - she is on the soccer team, and participated in the Academic Decathlon. She still has her dream of being in the FBI, although know along with being a mom - she absolutely loves taking care of her younger brother and sister.
Jean-Pierre, who has requested to be called Johnny, is on three soccer teams - one at school, an outdoor soccer league, and an indoor soccer league. We think he's gone a bit overboard, but he loves it! His room is also decorated with pictures of soccer players. He is also on the swim team during the summer.
Aimee has been in many, many plays and has become hooked on musical theater. She dreams of becoming an actress one day, and we are thinking about getting her a talent agent. She is also taking art classes at our community center, which she loves! She has definitely become more outgoing, especially around her friends and at school. Princess is also doing well, and is expecting kittens soon!
