Bartholomew is very handsome. There is a charachter on an Australian tv series whose name is Bartholomew "Bart" (or ocassionally Homer) and its really grown on me. Definately fits with your other names.
Not sure about Batt. I prefer Barty (like Barty Crouch from HP)

Bart or Barty as a NN for Bartholomew only serves to remind me of a crass and crude cartoon, The Simpsons. I don't know if you have this cartoon Down Under, but it isn't something that I really want to name my kid after.
Now, Barty as a NN for Bartemius is a different story...Although neither Barty Crouch, Sr. nor Barty Crouch, Jr. are exactly fantastic role models (you'll know why if my assumption that you've at least seen the movies is correct), I do like the name.

I love Bartemius so much, its so different and handsome, plus im obsessed with HP even if Barty Crouch isn't a good name sake...
