[Opinions] WDYTO my twinset for two girls
Ayelet and Elendû (maybe I will drop the accent on Elendû for spelling ease, leaving it as simply Elendu).
Ayelet is Hebrew for "morning star". It is pronounced eye-EL-et. Elendû is Sindarin, the language invented by J.R.R. Tolkien for high elves (ancient nobility). It is actually my own concoction, created by combining the Sindarin elements Elen, meaning "star" and Dû, meaning "evening". Together it means "evening star" and is pronounced el-EHN-doo.

I really like what you have done with Elendu ( I don't like made up names but this does sound pretty.....)Sorry Ayelet says Eyelet to me - I just couldn't do that to a child xxx

I believe Ayelet is actually pronounced eye-eh-LET, but it could be eye-EH-let. Either way, I really dislike it. I find it unattractive and way too close to eyelet.Elendu is, in my book, a made up name and I really don't like it. The related meanings are lovely, though.ETA: Also, Ayelet does not mean "morning star". It means "gazelle" or "hind". The phrase "'ayelet hashachar", literally meaning "gazelle of dawn", is the name of a morning star.Click: Ayelet
