I would have said it uh-DAY-see-uh, even worse! It's not really my style, but it's not awful either. I just wish the mother had spelt it appropriately.
I'm not in many situations where I have to say names of people out loud that I don't know, but even if I am, all the names here are so boring and well-known that it doesn't even matter. =/
