I don't think Beth is outdated at all. Not like Betty or Bessie. Lizzie is cute but maybe doesn't age so well. Eliza is very trendy right now.

Bethy is not so good, it sounds like Bessie has a terrible lisp, and it's babyish too.

Annie Beth is indeed nauseatingly cutesy. It's kind of like Katie Jo or Mary Lou. :)
