[Opinions] WDYTO Cecily?
Replies
I actually knew a girl named Cecily when I was a teenager. Hard to believe that was almost 15 years ago. Her parents were ahead of their time in names.

I love Cecily. It's among my top girl names.
I love it with Beatrice, but not with Lily. (I don't like that they both end in -ily.)
I think the sibset is better with Edith.

I think Cecily is a cute name. It's probably not something I'd ever use, but I definitely wouldn't mind seeing it on someone else's daughter. Overall, though, I must admit that I prefer Cecilia.
I don't like Beatrice at all (so dated imo). Cecily and Lily are too rhymey for sisters, in my opinion (when I say them, they just seem really close in sound).
I think Beatrice, Edith, and Lily works better, only because it's not so rhymey. But, I definitely prefer Cecily over Edith (which is also very dated imo).

Concidering I'm due with a little Cecily in a few weeks, I would say I'm quite fond of the name. :)
Lily and Cecily are too cutesy in a sibset, what about Lillian or Lilith nn Lily? Edith sounds a little harsh and still slightly too dated to fit with Beatrice (which I love) and Lily, imo. Beatrice and Cecily work well together.
Edited because I accidentally posted mid sentence.
