Abigail is a lovely name. I would venture to say that it is usable even though children of your second cousins are named Abigail, simply because it is a more common name. It's common without being too common and trendy. It's a lovely selection. I'm attracted to 'A' names anyway, and Abigail just looks beautiful. I've contemplated using this myself, even though the daughter of a first cousin has this name. The only thing I don't like is the nickname Abby. :(
