[Opinions] Re: Some VERY Roman names
Daedalus - I've always liked Daedalus nn Daed.
Servius - Much prefer Severus.
Avitus - Not sure.
Romulus - I like this one a lot.
Octavius - I like it, but I have trouble seeing it on someone who isn't the eighth child.
Aristides - Love this one.
Septimus - I like this one too. Same issue as with Octavius, though.
Deimos - I don't care for this one.
Atlas - I like this.
Augustus - Love it.
Constantine - Absolutely love this!
Ioannes - NMS.
Roman - I like it. Might make a good nn for Romulus.
Tiberius - Reminds me of Captain Kirk, but I like it.
Severus - I love Severus, even with the Harry Potter association.
Theocritus - Like it.
Ares - I like it, but I wonder if the god of war association is too much.
Lucius - Love it.
Silvanus - Love this one too.I think the most usable ones are:
Octavius
Septimus
Augustus
Constantine
Roman
Tiberius
Severus
Ares
LuciusThe others aren't bad, just slightly less socially acceptable, I think. I'm having a hard time with combos right now. The only one I can actually think of is Nicholas Constantine, and that's just because it's been one of my favorites for a while.
