I think if I liked the name enough I would (I'm just getting used to Clyde). I mean people use Charles, and Charles Manson is very well known.

There are lots of other Charles's, though. I would find it very strange if someone named their child Manson!

All things considered, though, Clyde is a nice enough name that if you like it you should use it. The association isn't bad enough to ruin it. I would probably make it a mn just to avoid teasing...
The kid named Manson must have a rough life. LOL.
The two namesakes I know of are Charles Manson and Marilyn Manson. Both of which are terrible! And I thought Heven Le'Blessing was bad.
