Clemence, the French feminine form of Clement, is gorgeous. I like either the original French pronunciation, "clay-MAHNS," or the English, "CLEM-ens."
Clemency, on the other hand, conjurs up visions of felons awaiting parole, or asking for pardons. The "Clemency Board" association is too strong for me to like Clemency as a name.
