The Dunn family lives in Lancaster, PA. Drew is an attorney in Lancaster City, and Alice is a second grade teacher in the local school district. They have four children. Andy is fourteen. He is in 9th grade and enjoys high school a lot. He even has a girlfriend, Lucy Robertson. Drew and Alice don’t think he’s ready for a girlfriend just yet, but they can’t control what goes on at school. Robbie and Meg are the twins. They are in second grade. Robbie has ADHD, and he can be a handful sometimes. He likes playing video games and wrestling with the dogs. Meg is active, but doctors say she doesn’t have ADHD. She likes playing with dolls. JT is six. He just started first grade, and he loves going to school like his older siblings do. He likes following Robbie around and wrestling with the dogs as well. JT also likes sports of any kind, and he loves playing soccer. The dogs are both Greyhounds, Pierce and Monday. They were rescued from life at the racetrack, and the Dunn family adopted them together. Pierce and Monday are good friends, and they spend all of their time together.
