I love Hebrew names but I know nothing whatsoever about their popularity in Israel. I seem to recall someone telling me that feminized versions of girl names like Aviva and Liora were dated, and now girls are just named Aviv and Lior. I'm sad to hear about Zipporah, as I really like that one.
