Johanna is gorgeous. I pronounce it "jo-HAN-uh," but I know a lot of people use the original
German pronunciation, "yo-HAH-nuh." My great-grandmother was "jo-HAN-uh" so I'm biased. But it really is lovely, either way. It has an old-world charm that I love.

Johanna, no "h," is the feminine form of
Johannes. There is no "h" on the end. It's confusing because of the unrelated name
Hannah, I know. I used to do the same thing so don't feel bad.
