I like both but prefer Layla. BTW I recently met a Laila pronounced LAY-lah.

That's interesting. Apparently, Layla can be pronounced both ways too.

Yeah, it's how the parents want it that matters. The same with Kailey could be pronounced KAY-lee or KY-lee; and Annika could be Ana-KA or Ann-ee-KA. That's the way of it =]
