[Games] When I said Jewish I meant....
in reply to a message by TABS
Names from this link http://www.behindthename.com/nmc/jew.php. Mainly names like Abraham, Miriam, Barak, etc. Especially from the Torah (may also be refered to Hebrew Bible or Old Testament but the correct term IMO is Torah)eta: That's interesting... Have you every looked for your "real" (birth) family? Why or why not? (I just want some perspective you don't have to answer)

I know Joshua is in the jewish category its just not dated... no offense... but that was just what I think of when I think Jewish names. No I know who my real mother is and her reasons for giving me up were good. I have never met her but she did send me two birthday cards when I was younger. My parents changed my name and when I signed it with my "new" name she never wrote back. She is not the kind of person you go looking for... If she found me on the other hand fine. I have 5 brothers I have met two of them. I would care to find them. No clue who my fathers but not interested really either. I have my husband and my son so I have a real family now I dont need to go looking for anyone.

About Joshua: Most of the religious people I know have old fashioned names (as they were named after grandparents)About Adoption: So you wouldn't want to find your mom, but you'd want to find... say.. a half-silbing/sibling?

About Adoption: Yes I would be more willing to look for a sibling/ half-sibling. Like I mentioned before I have met two of my "real" half brothers who are both grown with familys. It makes for a very big family in the end!
